Description:
Uña de gato (Cat’s Claw) is a shrub or climbing vine native to the Amazon Baja del Peru (up to 800 m). Its height reaches 30 meters high. The full development of this plant takes about 20 years. His name is Ashaninka “Samento” and Ashaninka healers use it to heal deep wounds, bone pain, to kidney and women use it to recover after childbirth. The Uncaria tomentosa (scientific name) has anti-inflammatory properties; strengthens the immune system; therefore it is recommended for convalescent and debilitated by frequent and / or continuous use of antibiotics.

Origin of the raw material:
It is grown in the wild in the rainforest of Peru at an altitude between 300 and 1000 m above sea level, in the valleys of Perené, Paucartambo, regions of the Cerro de la Sal and the great grassland of the departments of Loreto, San Martin, Pasco, Junin and Madre de Dios
