Palo Santo sticks offer a simple way to enjoy the properties of this exceptional wood. Easy to light, they keep burning for about an hour.
100% of the wood is sawdust from the natural Palo Santo tree, it means that it has not been used for oil extraction. A natural binder based on Cordia lutea, a plant known in Peru as overal, is added to this sawdust. Cordia lutea fruit has a fleshy pulp that when squeezed produces a viscous material that becomes sticky to the environment and helps to agglomerate the Palo Santo sawdust. The third ingredient is bamboo, used to make the wand.
Palo Santo wood has been traditionally used to create a relaxing, clean and purifying environment.
Due to the fact that the Palo Santo tree is a protected plant species, harvesting and forest treatment practices appropriate for its conservation are controlled, regulated by the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture.
