Noni (Morinda Citrifolia) is a tree up to 8 meters tall which is abundant in the islands of French Polynesia. Its fruit has been consumed for thousands of years by Native Hawaiians and other nations such as Samoa, Tahiti, etc.
Noni juice as the fruit has been popular and used in traditional medicine by Polynesia and Southeast Asia to treat a wide range of health problems. This plant’s derivatives such as Noni juice and noni plant treatments are so effective that the plant was even considered to be “sacred” to the regeneration of the body by the Kahunas, the name is known to traditional healers in the South Pacific.
Traditionally we have used noni juice or the fruit for inflammatory, immune, and degenerative problems. Studies are underway to test its effectiveness and medical applications.
Noni juice is rich in iron, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, calcium, zinc, copper, and vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B6, and B12. It also contains amino acids. It is very rich in antioxidants, making it an ideal complement to any diet.
