Calendula oil is an excellent skin moisturiser. Oil obtained by macerating marigold flowers in olive oil. The marigold flower has been used for centuries for its skin repairing, soothing and strengthening qualities. Calendula oil macerate is applied in cases of sensitive or irritated skin, after insect bites, burns and minor ailments. It is also highly recommended for children and to improve irritated areas of the baby’s nappy.
Organic cut marigold flowers are macerated in organic olive oil – 200 grams of organic marigold flowers are used per kilo of organic olive oil (= 20% organic calendula oil). The macerate is then filtered.
