Liquid stevia is an excellent natural sweetener. Ideal for people who need to control consumption of sugar due to problems linked to metabolic disorders such as diabetes or overweight.

The sweet taste of the plant is due to a glycoside called Stevioside, composed of Glucose, and Rebaudioside. Stevia in its natural form is 15 times sweeter than table sugar (sucrose). And the extract is 100 to 300 times sweeter than sugar.

It does not affect blood sugar levels, on the contrary, studies have demonstrated hypoglycemic properties, it actually improves glucose tolerance and that is why it is recommended for diabetic patients.
Stevia is important for people who want to lose weight, not only because it helps reduce calorie intake, but because it reduces the craving or need to be eating candy.

Stevia also has properties which help controls blood pressureas it has vasodilator, diuretic and cardiotonic (regulates pressure and heart rate).
