From Morocco comes clay collected in the foothills of the Atlas. Ghassoul is volcanic clay rich in minerals such as sulphur which cleans our skin and hair of impurities and fat. This makes it a great ally in the fight against acne and pimples. This clay has been used by women since ancient times because of its effect on the hair and in body care.
Ghassoul volcanic clay doesn’t contain any added chemicals or surfactants that can damage the skin or pH balance. It is an essential element of beauty treatments in the hammam such as black soap. Thanks to its volcanic composition, this clay is rich in mineral nutrients.
How to use: It is mixed with warm water. The ghassoul swells and forms a very smooth and creamy paste that is spread on the body or in the hair. Acts as a blotter, this pulp absorbs impurities and fat. Simply rinse sufficiently to remove it.
