Alum powder is obtained from alum crystals extracted directly from natural alunite quarries. These are reduced to powder using an alum stone molder in France. It has various uses, both in cosmetics and other practical applications:
Antibacterial: Alum powder is a natural antibacterial that prevents the formation of bacteria responsible for unpleasant odors.
Perspiration regulator: It is particularly used in the manufacture of natural deodorants and prevents the formation of fungus. Its astringent properties are also appreciated by acne-prone skin.
This product is recommended for foot care: diluted in warm water in a footbath or sprinkled directly inside shoes to eliminate unpleasant odors. It can also be used as an aftershave treatment.
